A curfew imposed in Golbazar, Siraha, has been relaxed for the day, according to the District Administration Office.
Chief District Officer Surendra Paudel announced that the curfew, which was in place due to security concerns, has been relaxed from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm today.
The administration has stated that it will reassess the local situation and make necessary decisions to either extend the relaxation of the curfew or reimpose it.
In addition, the administration has eased restrictions on public transportation in the Golbazar area, but has urged the public to refrain from gathering in groups of more than five people during the relaxed period.
The curfew was initially imposed in Golbazar following a recent incident in Sunsari, which led to tensions in the area.
The administration’s decision to relax the curfew comes after assessing the current security situation, and it has opted to ease restrictions during the daytime.
