Nepal Stock Exchange Falls on First Trading Day of the Week

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell on the first trading day of the week, Monday. According to NEPSE, the index dropped by 1.20 points to 2,684.33. Out of 13 sub-groups that traded on Monday, 8 sub-groups saw an increase in their indices, while 5 sub-groups saw a decrease. Although most sub-groups showed a green signal, the overall market saw a decline in the index.

In terms of transaction amount, Reliance Spinning Mills topped the list. The company’s shares worth Rs 27.62 million were traded on Monday, as per NEPSE. Investors of Everest Color Limited made the highest profit on Monday, with the company’s share price increasing by 14.99%. On the other hand, investors of Reliance Spinning Mills incurred the highest loss, with the company’s share price decreasing by 7.40%.

A total of 1.14 million shares of 349 companies were traded on Monday, resulting in a transaction of over Rs 4.57 billion, as per NEPSE.
