Saptari Administration Lifts Curfew, Prohibitory Order Remains

The Saptari District Administration has lifted the curfew imposed in Rajbiraj and Bodebarsain municipalities, but a prohibitory order remains in place.

Chief District Officer Shyamkrishna Thapa said the decision to lift the curfew was made during a meeting of the District Security Committee on Sunday.

However, considering the security situation, the administration has issued a prohibitory order in both areas, restricting gatherings of more than five people, meetings, processions, sit-ins, and demonstrations.

The prohibitory order is in effect in areas including Khando Khola in the east, Hulaki Highway in the west, Rupani Road in the north, and Koshi Western Main Canal in the south of Rajbiraj municipality, as well as from Khadak Pul to Manraja Chowk in Bodebarsain municipality.
