Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah to Address the Nation Amid Unrest

Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah is set to address the nation for the first time, amid growing unrest in the country. The address comes after a recent incident in Sunsari that sparked widespread protests and violence.

Following a meeting with Prime Minister Shah, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has traveled to Sunsari to assess the situation and meet with the families of those affected by the violence. Minister Gurung is scheduled to meet with the families of Om Prakash Mehta and Jay Prakash Mehta, who were killed in the clashes.

Health and Food Security Minister Nisha Mehta, who is also from Sunsari, will accompany Minister Gurung on the trip. The Prime Minister’s Office announced that the ministers will meet with the families of the victims and assess the situation on the ground.
