The government has decided to introduce nine bills in parliament, aimed at amending various laws and introducing new provisions. The decision was made during a cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, Ashar 13, 2083.
According to government spokesperson Sashmit Pokharel, the bills include the Constitutional Body Officials’ Remuneration, Service, Terms, and Facilities Act, 2053, and the Infectious Diseases and Animal-Related Act.
Other bills that have been approved for introduction in parliament include the Passport Act, 2076, the Human Trafficking and Smuggling (First Amendment) Bill, the Child Labor Prohibition and Control Bill, the Internal Air Service Responsibility Bill, the Mediation Act, 2068, and the Employees’ Provident Fund Act Amendment Bill.
The government has stated that the introduction of these bills is aimed at promoting legal and policy reforms. The bills are expected to be registered in parliament soon.
