Hulas Steel Celebrates Founder’s Day with Social Responsibility Programs

Hulas Steel Industries Limited has organized various social responsibility programs across the country to mark the 72nd birth anniversary and Founder’s Day of the late Divakar Golchha, a pioneer in Nepal’s industrialization and entrepreneurship.

The company has reaffirmed its commitment to continue the legacy of the late Golchha, who envisioned creating employment opportunities in the country. Various programs were held at the company’s corporate office, industrial complex, and different branch offices.

On the occasion of Founder’s Day, the company organized a free health camp for local residents, honored outstanding employees, planted trees for environmental conservation, distributed food at schools and old-age homes, and handed over dialysis equipment to Kirtipur Hospital.

Hulas Group has been operating various industries across the country, producing goods such as corrugated iron sheets, pipes, jute, sugar, food grains, aluminum, steel utensils, GI, copper wire, and electronics materials, in line with the late Golchha’s vision of making the country self-reliant through industrialization.

The company claims that these industries have provided direct employment opportunities to around 20,000 people. Established with the objective of producing high-quality corrugated iron sheets in Nepal, Hulas Steel Industries Limited has made significant contributions to the country’s industrial development, employment creation, and economy over its 45-year journey.

The company has also been providing financial support and conducting social service programs through the Divakar Golchha Foundation in various sectors, including health and social organizations.
