Malaysia’s population has reached 34.4 million in 2026, according to government statistics. This represents a slight increase from the previous year’s 34.2 million.
The growth rate stands at 0.5% per annum. The indigenous population in Malaysia has also seen an increase, from 30.8 million in 2025 to 31 million.
