Rastriya Swatantra Party to Celebrate International Youth Day Across Nepal

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is set to celebrate International Youth Day on August 12 across Nepal with various programs.

The party’s central committee meeting held on July 27 decided to form an organizing committee for the celebration, led by central member and former minister Kabindra Burlakoti.

According to the United Nations, International Youth Day has been observed every year on August 12 since 1999.

The RSP’s organizing committee includes central members, lawmakers, and other party leaders. The party has also made arrangements for the provincial assembly chairpersons to be part of the committee.

To mark the occasion, the party plans to organize various programs at the local, district, provincial, and central levels.

Programs and Activities

The first meeting of the organizing committee held on August 1 decided to coordinate with the provincial assembly chairpersons, appoint provincial coordinators, and form necessary sub-committees.

According to the committee, the programs and activities planned for the celebration include an interaction program titled ‘Youth’s Voice to Parliament’, an inspirational message competition, a nationwide cleanliness campaign, sports, blood donation, interaction, discussion on contemporary issues, and policy formulation.
