The Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee has set the maximum wholesale prices for various fruits and vegetables for Saturday, 16 Shrawan 2083.
According to the committee, the prices for various items are as follows: tomatoes (Nepali) Rs 60 per kilogram, tomatoes (Indian) Rs 70 per kilogram, small tomatoes (tunnel) Rs 30 per kilogram, potatoes (red, long) Rs 51 per kilogram, potatoes (red, round) Rs 51 per kilogram, potatoes (red, mud) Rs 51 per kilogram, potatoes (red, Indian) Rs 37 per kilogram, potatoes (white) Rs 35 per kilogram, and dried onions (Indian) Rs 57 per kilogram.
Other prices include carrots (local) Rs 120 per kilogram, carrots (Tarai) Rs 80 per kilogram, beans (local) Rs 40 per kilogram, cauliflower (local) Rs 110 per kilogram, radish (red) Rs 30 per kilogram, radish (white, hybrid) Rs 20 per kilogram, radish (white, local) Rs 20 per kilogram, eggplant (long) Rs 60 per kilogram, and eggplant (round) Rs 70 per kilogram.
The committee has also set prices for various other fruits and vegetables, including fruits like apples, bananas, and oranges, and vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, and spinach.
These prices are subject to change based on market conditions and availability of produce.
