Nepal’s hilly regions continue to experience heavy rainfall due to the monsoon season, with the Meteorological Forecasting Division predicting more rain in the coming days.
According to the division, the monsoon low-pressure system is currently located near the western border of the country, with partial to full cloud cover expected throughout the day.
Heavy rainfall is expected in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, with moderate to heavy rainfall predicted in other parts of the country.
The division has warned of a high risk of flash floods, landslides, and soil erosion in the affected areas, and has urged the public to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
The monsoon season has already disrupted daily life, agriculture, health services, tourism, and transportation in the country, and the division has advised the public to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted that the monsoon season will continue to affect the country for the next few days, with heavy rainfall expected in the hilly regions.
