A curfew has been imposed in Dhanusha and Siraha districts, with some relaxation in the rules to allow people to purchase essential goods.
According to the District Administration Office, people will be allowed to leave their homes to buy essential items between 5:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
During the curfew, hospitals, pharmacies, airports, gas supply, petroleum transportation and sales, ambulances, fire brigades, hearse services, water and milk transportation services will remain operational.
Health workers, government employees, communication workers, Red Cross workers, pilgrims, patients, and travelers with valid identification documents and air tickets will be allowed to move around.
The curfew was imposed to maintain law and order in the districts.
