Tension in Siraha’s Golbazar After Vandalism and Arson

Siraha’s Golbazar has been affected by the tension that has been spreading across various districts in the Madhes region following an incident in Sunsari.

A normal dispute that started in Golbazar gradually turned violent, resulting in vandalism and arson, causing significant damage. Several houses, shops, and a mill were set on fire and vandalized during the incident.

After an angry group caused damage to public and private property, the market area became tense. Security personnel have been deployed to bring the situation under control.

Although the situation is gradually returning to normal, the residents of the affected area are still fearful. The houses, shops, and mills affected by the arson and vandalism have suffered extensive damage.

The administration has stated that the process of collecting detailed information on the damage is ongoing. Further investigation into the incident is also underway.
