Siraha, the district headquarters, has returned to normalcy after protests erupted on Thursday. The town was deserted this morning, with most shops remaining closed. The curfew imposed in the Lahan and Golbazar areas remains in effect, but the situation is under control.
The protests were sparked by an incident in Sunsari, and the demonstrators had blocked the roads with electric poles, which are still in place. However, the situation has improved, and the town is slowly returning to normal.
