Nepalgunj is set to host a harmony rally on Saturday, aiming to promote social harmony and religious tolerance in the region.
The rally, organized by the District Administration Office of Banke in coordination with various political parties and social organizations, will begin at 7:30 am from BP Chowk and conclude at Dhamboji Chowk.
Chief District Officer Dil Kumar Tamang stated that the rally is being held to prevent anti-harmony activities, similar to those seen in Sunsari and Siraha, and to promote mutual harmony among citizens.
The meeting also decided to strictly enforce the decision to prohibit the playing of DJs and the display of weapons in public places.
The meeting was attended by representatives of various political parties, religious leaders, and social activists.
