Nepal President and PM Hold Talks Amid Rising Violence

Nepal’s President Ramchandra Paudel has expressed concern over the rising incidents of violence in various parts of the country during a meeting with Prime Minister Balendra Shah.

President Paudel summoned Prime Minister Shah to the Presidential Palace, Shital Niwas, on Thursday to discuss the situation. According to the President’s press advisor, Kiran Pokharel, the President expressed his concern and anxiety over the increasing number of violent incidents.

Prime Minister Shah briefed the President on the government’s efforts to maintain peace and order in the country. The President suggested that all parties, including political parties, should work together to resolve the situation and establish harmony.
