Nepal PM Holds Talks with Madhes-Centric Lawmakers

Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah has initiated discussions with lawmakers representing the Tarai and Madhes regions.

The talks, which began at the Prime Minister’s Office, are focused on the recent incidents in the region and the resulting situation, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Lawmakers present at the discussion include Rahabar Ansari, Nitima Bhandari (Karki), Ravindra Patel, Manish Jha, Ravi Mahato, Rajkishor Mahato, Ganesh Dhimal, Chandan Singh, Bikram Thapa, Mohanlal Acharya, and Gajala Shamim Mikrani, among others.

This meeting follows the Prime Minister’s earlier discussion with leaders of Madhes-centric parties today.
