The government of Nepal has registered nine bills in the federal parliament, with seven in the House of Representatives and two in the National Assembly.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the bills were registered on Thursday, Ashar 14, 2083. The government aims to register a total of 166 bills in the current fiscal year.
The bills registered in the House of Representatives include the Customs (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, the Human Trafficking and Smuggling (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, the Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083, the Constitutional Bodies’ Officials’ Remuneration, Service Conditions, and Facilities (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, the Reconciliation Bill (Second Amendment), 2083, the Child Labor Prohibition and Regulation Bill, 2083, and the Employees’ Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083.
The two bills registered in the National Assembly are the Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083, and the Internal Air Service Responsibility Bill, 2083.
The government has stated that it aims to give priority to legal and policy reforms in the current fiscal year and has prepared to present a large number of bills in the parliament.
