Nepal Appoints Asset Purification Investigation Department Head to Probe Foreign Exchange Irregularities

The Nepalese government has decided to appoint the head of the Asset Purification Investigation Department or a designated official to investigate irregularities related to foreign exchange.

This decision was made during a cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, according to Education and Sports Minister Sashmit Pokharel, who is also the government spokesperson.

Additionally, the meeting decided to nominate Kheteraj Dahal from Sindhuli as a member of the problem-ridden cooperative management committee.

The cabinet meeting also approved the Technical Education and Vocational Training Council (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 2083 BS.
