Land Ownership Certificates Distributed to 7 Families in Ajaymeru

In a significant move to address land ownership issues, the District Land Problem Resolution Committee in Dadeldhura has distributed land ownership certificates, also known as ‘lalpurja’, to 7 underprivileged families in Ajaymeru village municipality ward no. 2.

These families, who had been waiting for a long time to have their names registered as landowners, have now become legal landowners after receiving the certificates. The government has given high priority to resolving the land ownership issues of landless Dalits, landless Sukumbasi, and underprivileged communities, and has accelerated the distribution of land ownership certificates across the country.

The government’s initiative to make landless Dalits, landless Sukumbasi, and underprivileged communities legal landowners is an ongoing effort. The distribution of land ownership certificates is a significant step towards addressing the long-standing issue of land ownership in the country.
