Siraha’s Golbazar and surrounding areas have been placed under an indefinite curfew due to concerns over the security situation.
The local administration made the decision following a rise in the risk of unrest and violence in the area, according to the District Administration Office.
An order issued by Chief District Officer Surendra Paudel stated that the curfew will be in effect from 2 pm on 14 Shrawan, and will remain in place until further notice.
The administration has designated a specific area where the curfew will be enforced, including the eastern part of the Golbazar municipality, the western part of the Choharwa Chowk, the northern part of the Golbazar ward number 6, and the southern part of the R.P. R.P. Bahumukhi Campus.
The District Administration Office has urged the public to cooperate with the curfew order and warned that anyone found violating the order will face strict action under the law.
