Four individuals have been arrested on charges of involvement in international call bypass (VoIP) fraud. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) team arrested the suspects from Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, along with VoIP equipment.
Those arrested include Proshesh Gurung from Ajirkot, Gorkha; Muna Shrestha from Shankharapur, Kathmandu; Jenit Zhukal from Krishnapur, Kanchanpur; and Krishna Nagarkoti from Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur, according to CIB spokesperson Anupam Shamsher Jabra.
The police have recovered laptops, SIM cards of various companies, mobile phones, batteries, internet hubs, and routers from the suspects.
