Nepal’s Home Ministry has intensified security surveillance in various districts of Madhes Province and Koshi Province to prevent the spread of violence.
According to the ministry, drone surveillance has been strengthened in sensitive areas to maintain social harmony and religious tolerance.
The security agency has warned that it will take legal action against anyone involved in activities that disrupt social harmony, spread rumors, or engage in illegal activities.
The administration has urged citizens to maintain peace, order, and social harmony, and not to be swayed by misleading information or provocations.
Tension that started in Sunsari has also been reported in other districts of Madhes Province. Since Ashar 10, two people have been killed in Sunsari and one in Siraha due to gunshot wounds.
