Curfew Lifted in Sunsari, Prohibition Order Remains in Place

A curfew imposed in various areas of Sunsari district has been lifted, but a prohibition order remains in effect, according to the District Administration Office.

The curfew, which was in place since Shrawan 12, has been lifted from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, as per a notice issued by Chief District Officer Ishwari Prasad Aryal.

However, the prohibition order, which restricts gatherings of more than five people, processions, demonstrations, meetings, and sit-ins, remains in place in designated areas.

The District Administration Office stated that the curfew was lifted and the prohibition order was imposed to maintain peace, security, and public order.
