CAN Federation to Host International ICT Conference on AI and Cybersecurity

The Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Federation is set to host the ‘International ICT Conference on AI and Cybersecurity 2026’ on September 4, 2026 (Bhadra 19, 2083) in Kathmandu.

The conference, which aims to bring together technology leaders, researchers, innovators, and cybersecurity experts, has called for session proposals through its ‘SUBMIT YOUR SESSION PROPOSAL’ initiative. Interested experts can submit their proposals through itconference.org.np/submit-proposal.

The conference is expected to play a crucial role in transforming Nepal’s digital ecosystem, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity. The event will focus on AI transformation in various sectors, including agriculture, fintech, healthcare diagnostics, and governance, as well as cybersecurity resilience in the face of growing digital banking fraud, cyber attacks, data breaches, and social engineering threats.

The conference will serve as a national platform for knowledge sharing, bringing together international experts and Nepal’s local stakeholders to create a structured dialogue between policymakers, academia, industry leaders, startups, students, and international experts. It aims to contribute to the development of a secure, ethical, and innovation-driven digital ecosystem in the country.
