The Nepse index fell by 16.29 points today, closing at 2672.58. The market witnessed a decline of 0.60% compared to the previous trading day. The Sensitive Index also decreased by 0.31 points, closing at 467.69.
A total of 337 companies’ shares were traded, with 44,651 transactions taking place. The total turnover was Rs 3.38 billion, lower than the previous day’s turnover of Rs 4.29 billion.
The sub-indices of all 13 groups declined, with the Mutual Fund sub-index falling by 0.72%. The Everest Color Limited’s investors gained 15% today, while the Kalinchok Hydropower Limited’s investors lost 14.99%.
Reliance Spinning Mills Limited was the top-traded company in terms of turnover, with a total of Rs 238.43 million. Khanikhola Hydropower Company Limited was the top-traded company in terms of the number of shares traded, with 354,765 shares changing hands.
The Nepse index has been declining over the past few days, with a fall of 7.79 points on Wednesday, 4.64 points on Tuesday, and 33.28 points on Monday.
