Nepal Home Minister Reaches Eight-Point Agreement with Family of Slain Youth

Nepal’s Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has reached an eight-point agreement with the family of Ganesh Yadav, a youth who was killed in a shooting incident in Golbazar, Saptari district.

According to Minister Gurung, the agreement was reached after a meeting with Yadav’s family members, including his parents and relatives, at their home in Aurahi Gaunpalika, Siraha, on Friday night.

The eight-point agreement includes a commitment to conduct a fair and impartial investigation into the incident, take action against those responsible, provide compensation to the family, and ensure free education to the family members.

Additionally, the government has agreed to provide free medical treatment to Yadav’s parents and ensure employment opportunities for the family members.

Minister Gurung has assured that the investigation into the incident will be thorough and that those responsible will be brought to justice.

The incident occurred on Ashar 14, 2083, during a protest in Golbazar, where Yadav was shot and killed.
