Nepal Gas Industry Overwhelmed as Consumers Queue for Gas Amid Shortage

Consumers in Kathmandu are facing a severe gas shortage, forcing them to queue up at the Nepal Gas Industry in Balaju Industrial Area to purchase gas for cooking.

The shortage has been exacerbated by a decrease in gas supply to various depots, leading to a scarcity of gas cylinders in the market. As a result, consumers have been waiting in line since early morning to purchase gas.

The industry premises have witnessed long queues, posing a challenge to crowd management. Consumers have expressed concerns that this situation will persist until the gas supply is normalized.

The Nepal Oil Corporation has stated that it is working to ease the supply, but there are no immediate signs of a solution. Consumers have demanded a swift resolution to the issue, citing its impact on their daily lives.
