Hindu Samrat Sena Nepal Calls Off Protests After Oral Agreement with Government

Hindu Samrat Sena Nepal has called off its protests, including a nationwide strike, after reaching an oral agreement with the government over its demands.

The decision to suspend the protests was made after a meeting between Home Minister Sudhan Gurung and representatives of Hindu Samrat Sena Nepal in Janakpur on Sunday, Ashar 17, 2083.

According to the organization, a revised proposal incorporating the 13-point demands previously submitted has been presented to the government, and an agreement has been reached to form a committee to implement the demands at an appropriate time.

Following the meeting, Hindu Samrat Sena Nepal stated that it has given priority to maintaining religious harmony and peace in the country.

Home Minister Gurung also expressed his commitment to ensuring the security of all religious communities and preventing any obstacles to religious festivals or activities.
