Nepal’s House of Representatives is set to meet today, with several key items on the agenda. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is expected to present a proposal to send the ‘Bill to Amend and Repeal Some Nepal Laws Related to Finance, 2083’ to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.
Speaker of the House Dol Prasad Aryal is also set to present a condolence motion on the passing of former member of the House of Representatives and Constituent Assembly member Gopal Man Shrestha.
In addition, a meeting of the Legislative Management Committee is scheduled to take place. The meeting, which is set to begin at 11:00 am, will focus on the topic ‘Inter-Relationship of Legislature in Federalism: Practice, Need and Challenge in Nepal’.
