Nepal Railways Company Limited has temporarily suspended the rail service operating under the Jaynagar-Janakpur-Bhangaha section.
The decision was made in view of the safety of passengers due to the curfew order issued by the District Administration Office, Dhanusha, according to a statement released by the company’s central office in Janakpur Dham.
The statement mentioned that the decision was made based on the curfew order issued by the Chief District Officer. The Nepal Railways Company stated that the service, which is currently operational on the Jaynagar-Janakpur-Bhangaha section, cannot be operated until the curfew is lifted.
The company apologized for the inconvenience caused to passengers and stated that the service will resume once the situation returns to normal.
