Nepal and China have marked 71 years of diplomatic relations, with China’s Ambassador to Nepal, Chang Maoming, reaffirming the two countries’ commitment to strengthening their traditional friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation based on mutual benefit.
Ambassador Chang expressed his congratulations on the 71st anniversary of the establishment of China-Nepal diplomatic relations, highlighting the enduring friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation between the two countries over the past 71 years.
In his message, Ambassador Chang emphasized China’s willingness to further promote its traditional friendship with Nepal, advance their strategic partnership based on long-term friendship and mutual benefit, and bring more benefits to the people of both countries through cooperation.
Diplomatic relations between Nepal and China were established on August 1, 1955. Since then, the two countries have been cooperating in various fields, including politics, economy, infrastructure, trade, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.
