Curfew Lifted in Golbazar Area of Siraha

A curfew imposed in the Golbazar area of Siraha has been lifted, according to a statement released by the Siraha District Administration Office.

The decision to lift the curfew was made based on an assessment of the local security situation, the statement said. The curfew, which was imposed under the Local Administration Act, 2028, will be lifted from 7 pm today, August 1, 2083.

The curfew was initially imposed in response to tensions and security challenges in the area over the past few days. However, with the security situation returning to normal, the local administration has decided to lift the curfew.

The statement, signed by Chief District Officer Surendra Paudel, said that the decision to lift the curfew was made after a thorough assessment of the local security situation.
