Curfew Imposed in Rajbiraj, Nepal Amid Security Concerns

A curfew has been imposed in various areas of Rajbiraj, the district headquarters of Saptari, from 5:00 am today until further notice.

The District Administration Office issued a statement saying the curfew was imposed to maintain peace and security in the district, as per the decision of the District Security Committee.

According to an order issued by Chief District Officer Shyam Krishna Thapa, the curfew has been imposed in areas within the Rajbiraj municipality, specifically from Khandokhola in the east, Judeni-Dhalhi on the Hulaki highway in the west, Rupani Road’s Basbitti Chowk in the north, and the western Koshi canal (Vishnupur village council boundary) in the south.
